Doing lots of cardio is the best way to lose weight!
TRUTH:
Not necessarily!
If your goal is weight loss. Yes, traditional cardio workouts like treadmill workout will help (in addition to a healthy diet), which is essential for losing weight in terms of muscle and fat loss.
BUT in the long-term!
- Your body soon adapts to the relatively low intensity of these activities and thus actually burns lesser calories than before.
- A combination of high-intensity cardio ( not jogging on treadmills! ), weight training and also smart nutrition plan is a good idea and increases your chances of slimming down and improving your physique.
